Context
We combine Earth observation, field data and statistical modelling. The same methods apply to a single site or a large portfolio.
Maps of habitat extent and condition, from a single site to a whole region.
Records of how land has changed over time, with an assessment of what caused the change.
Independent ratings with stated uncertainty, comparable between sites and repeatable over time.
We have no financial interest in the projects we rate.
We apply the same methods to every site, so results can be compared.
Each rating is reported with its evidence and its uncertainty.
We assess any landscape, including forests, grasslands, wetlands, farmland and mountains.
Baselines, screening and ratings for land you manage or plan to restore.
Independent assessment of nature projects and portfolios, before and after investment.
Joint work with universities and field organisations on new ways to measure nature.
